Key responsibilities: Android Developer

Must have a minimum of 6+ years of Software development experience with at least 4+ years developing Mobile Applications on Android

Technical Skills in most of the following areas:

• Proficient with Java, Kotlin, Android SDK
• Must have expert knowledge of Enterprise Mobile application development.
• Must have experience with wring and interacting with web services / back end service end points (SOAP/REST) with SOA framework
• Must have experience on RxJava, Architectural pattern of MVVM
• Must have an experience with Retrofit network library, Material design as well Android JetPack Components.
• Must have ability to organize large-scale front-end mobile application codebases using common mobile design patterns and libraries.
• Strong familiarities in dealing with different tools (Android Studio, Git, SVN, Jenkins etc.) and software development methodologies (Agile, TDD (Test driven development, Water fall etc)
• Strong knowledge of communicating with other devices peripherals over Bluetooth / NFC / RFID / Wi-Fi / Other communication mechanisms.
• Knowledge on cross platform / hybrid mobile app development such as Flutter, Cordova / Xamarin / any other.
• Must have excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills

Organizational skills and consulting abilities:

• Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Communicate technical limitations and roadblocks to your team
• Continuously learn and grow as a software developer, keeping up to date with emerging technologies and trends
• Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills

Secondary Skills:

• User interface design experience
• Familiarity with unit testing of mid layer and front-end code
• Experience and knowledge on process of deploying applications on app stores (Android)
• Passionate about CI/CD & automation
• Familiarity with unit testing of mid layer and front-end code

Should be able to:

• Converts Solution Requirements into logical systems & subsystems
• Innovates and creates new ideas and have ability to develop quick proof of concepts and validate with customer.
