Carrier Commercial Service has an opening for an experienced Sales Executive -National Accounts for our Mississauga On Location
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Grow sales to achieve market share and sales growth initiatives, including
- Account Development. Manage and develop new and existing customer relationships. Targeting new potential opportunities within the marketplace.
- Key Account Growth. Focus on sales within assigned vertical markets and/or customer accounts. (e.g. Industrial, Commercial Buildings, Logistics, Retail, Data Centers).
- Business Development. A True Hunter. Create, Develop, maintain, and convert a pipeline of prospects into new revenue by leveraging your pre-existing network of relationships (preferably with decision-makers), and researching new contacts within the target markets.
- Strategic Sales. Act as client’s “Strategic Partner” through early engagement and driving business opportunities, ensuring Carrier is the customer’s first choice; always staying one step ahead of the game.
- Cross-functional leadership. Develop thorough collaboration with operations team locally and nationally, to prepare detailed HVAC and BAS solutions for clients.
- Quotes system and service solutions, create proposals, for customers with technical accuracy, and within Company pricing guidelines.
- Utilize sales tools effectively (CRM, estimating software, etc.) to plan and document progress as well as increase business opportunity within accounts
- Ability to put together a winning package to respond to government and private RFPs, Bids, and Tenders.
- Prepares and delivers presentations, and negotiates favorable contract terms and conditions, maximizing Carrier's profit margins, cash flow, and top-line sales.
- By actively participating in the promotion of Carrier’s technology and solutions through networking events, trade shows, and professional associations.
- Identifies potential project risks early on and develops/implements strategies to minimize impact and control deviations from estimated costs and project deadlines.
EXPERIENCE / QUALIFICATIONS:
Direct sales experience in HVAC commercial service for 2-5 years is preferred.
Extensive building systems (HVAC BAS IoT) knowledge
Must be self-motivated to achieve annual goals and objectives
Strong interpersonal skills
Demonstrated ability to influence customer’s key decision-makers
Willingness to travel regularly throughout the assigned territory
Excellent writing, communication & presentation skills
Strong experience in Microsoft Office Suite, Salesforce, and SAP preferred
EDUCATION / CERTIFICATIONS:
BA/BS degree with 4-7+ years of relevant experience
MA/MS degree with 2-5+ years of relevant experience
