About this role:

The Global Director of Hourly Recruitment is responsible for overseeing the recruitment and hiring processes for hourly positions across our largest manufacturing sites across the globe. This role involves developing and implementing effective recruitment strategies in partnership with HR and Operations, driving awareness to proactive hiring forecasts, driving service delivery and SLA’s with RPO and other staffing suppliers (background check, drug testing, etc), and ensuring that the company attracts and hires the best talent for hourly roles.

The Global Director of Hourly Recruitment will work closely with various departments including HR, Operations, Supplier Community and Procurement to build a strategic approach for hourly staffing from forecast to hire.

The Global Director of Hourly Recruitment will also be responsible for driving lean principles across the global hourly hiring strategy, with a focus on automation, candidate experience and waste elimination.  Development of global hourly hiring KPIs, a global dashboard, and global supplier optimization will also be integral for this role. Finally, the Global Director of Hourly Recruitment will be responsible for quantifying hourly cost per hire to be reported in 2026 financial planning assumptions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Optimize the global hourly hiring process with a keen focus on RPO service delivery and RPO strategic management.
  • Development of forecasting and hiring playbook for optimal staffing planning, to include temp/perm mix.
  • Manage global supplier relationships across RPO, background check, drug testing ensuring optimal supplier performance in the hourly hiring operation, lead QBRs and ensure adherence and performance against contract SLAs
  • Drive Operational Excellence with a focus on lean principles, by developing baseline metrics and benchmark reporting for global hourly recruitment value stream and leveraging data and analytics to remove waste.
  • Develop and present business cases for new recruitment initiatives and strategies to unlock continuous improvement and productivity opportunities.
  • Quantify productivity and efficiencies for all recruitment suppliers.
  • Collaborate with HR and site leads to drive awareness proactive forecasting, hiring plans, and onboarding schedules.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant employment laws and regulations.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree
  • Minimum of 12 years of experience in recruitment
  • 7 + years of experience in a TA leadership role.
  • 7 + years of supplier management experience in an RPO/BPO environment including business case design, RPO Negotiation, and contract oversight.
  • 7 + years of experience with recruitment best practices and employment laws
  • 7 + years of experience using recruitment software and applicant tracking systems.
  • 3 + years of Lean and Operational Excellence project management mastery experience

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Human Resources or a related field.
  • Experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Proven track record of managing a global hourly recruiting team.
  • Professional certifications in Lean/Six Sigma or equivalent such as employer certification/training in Operational Excellence/Lean
  • Experience in the manufacturing or logistics industry at a Fortune 500 highly matrixed organization.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to build trust and partnership with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Bilingual-English and Spanish
