Your Role

The role is  part of Carrier Solutions UK and it's a fully depot-based position in Plymouth.

Your key responsibilities will be the following

• To ensure plant/machinery/building fabric and equipment (electrical and mechanical) are maintained in good working order and conform to current legislation.
• To complete checks as required on plant and equipment whether that is weekly monthly, quarterly.
• To maintain spares for plant/machinery and equipment.
• To file and coordinate plant/machinery and equipment manuals and drawings.
• To maintain & participate in EH & S systems and audits.
• To coordinate service contracts and maintenance visits.
• To record keeping on the maintenance activities on plant and equipment.
• To order spares and consumables as required.

Who we're looking for

• Electrical apprentice/timed served craftsmen with commercial experience (17th edition or above)
• Confirmed experience and capability in electrical & mechanical commercial equipment up to 415 V.
• Maintenance across a wide range of electrical equipment both commercial and domestic
• ONC/HNC in a technical subject (electrical and controls) or GCSC in Maths, English & a technical subject.
• Computer literate.
• UK driving license.
