Role Description:

Supervises the design, development, implementation, and maintenance of various ERP business systems and databases. Works cross-functionally to understand business requirements and proposes Digital solutions. Provides supervision around configurating, developing, testing and deploying new and existing systems for optimal use.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead implementation projects in accordance with Carrier IT’s methodologies and governance model and collaborate with other IT teams to ensure solution designs are well coordinated and aligned to the overall ERP enterprise architecture
  • Lead the planning and execution of the S/4HANA transformation, ensuring a seamless migration from legacy systems.
  • Experience in more than one of the functional workstreams (EWM, FICO, SD,MM) and provide solutioning ensuring alignment with business processes
  • Oversee the optimization and transformation of modules within the S/4HANA framework.
  • Should have experience of atleast 3-4 full cycle implementation.
  • A strong understanding of SAP and integration with other applications/systems in an IT landscape
  • Configure and customize SAP modules to meet specific organizational requirements as and when needed
  • Lead and manage global, cross-functional teams responsible for SAP implementation and support.
  • Foster collaboration and effective communication within a matrix organizational structure.
  • Provide insights and recommendations on the use of SAP solutions to drive business value.
  • Collaborate with vendors, consultants, and external partners to stay updated on SAP developments and industry trends.
  • Manage relationships with external service providers, ensuring the delivery of high-quality solutions.
  • Demonstrate experience in managing people's performance and the merit cycle.
  • Provide mentorship to team members, fostering professional growth and development through guidance, constructive feedback, and knowledge sharing.

Basic Qualifications & Experience:

  • Atleast 15 years of experience
  • Experience in defining and maintaining global templates and play books for atleast 2-3 modules.
  • Business process analysis and redesign experience: strong business analysis skills; process mapping; business process redesign and implementation
  • Experience in design, delivery and support of SAP Central Finance and S/4 HANA environments
  • Experience leading the workstreams for a S/4 HANA Central Finance end-to-end implementation for a global, manufacturing company.
  • Expertise in configuration and implementation of both Financial Accounting (FI), Managerial Accounting (CO), and Central Finance (CFIN) is an advantage; understanding of integration with other SAP modules.
  • Working knowledge of System Landscape Transformation Server (SLT), Application Interface Framework (AIF), Application Link Enabling (ALE), and Master Data Governance (MDG) Integration of Central Finance with SAP and other non-SAP solutions
  • A conceptual thinker with the professional skills to create compelling solutions, considering business objectives as well as appropriate regulatory and technical requirements.
  • The ability to excel in a global team environment, effectively communicate and achieve results is critical
  • Highly motivated, self-directed, and able to effectively work with limited oversight.

Education:

Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field preferred.
