Role Responsibilities:
Assist in analyzing and optimizing material flow and storage within the warehouse.
Support layout planning and implementation of lean manufacturing principles.
Collect and analyze data on inventory accuracy, space utilization, and material handling efficiency.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve bottlenecks in warehouse operations.
Participate in development and documentation of standard operating procedures (SOPs).
Help implement digital tools or systems for tracking materials and improving visibility.
Conduct time studies and support continuous improvement initiatives.
Role Purpose:
To support the manufacturing engineering team in improving warehouse operations through data-driven analysis, process optimization, and hands-on project work.
To gain practical experience in material handling, logistics, and lean manufacturing within a dynamic production environment.
Basic Qualifications:
Must be currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in any engineering field.
Must have an overall GPA of 3.0 or higher.
Must be eligible to work in the US without sponsorship
Preferred Qualifications:
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
Strong organizational, analytical and problem-solving skills
Self-driven and proactive
Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities
Ability to communicate effectively at all levels
Team player and willing to collaborate with others on projects
